26 februarry 2019 09:00 Site visit at the area of practicing health professions to Chuang saen hospital and Nanglae health promoting hospital. With all members students exchange
This picture was taken at “Chuang saen hospital”
Before we go back, and ther’s lil bit selfie
And actionStairs to another room
Pharmacy room
Dentist room
So after we visited , we moved into “Nanglae health promoting hospital”
After studytimes our mentor and buddies drive us to the plant tea “Choui fong ”
The Next deatination is ……😀
Eng ing eng…
We went to the Golden triangle hihi
Oia before we going through the golden triangle we take a break for our lunch time , and once a gain what a lucky things is our mentor pay for us.. Uuhh such a good things .😆
Okay after take our lunch time
We went to the golden tiangle 😁
Do U know the golden triangle is? the Golden Triangle is the English-language nickname for the hilly, forested area in the north of Thailand, where it meets Laos and Burma. Despite the region’s fraught history, today it’s a serene landscape where you can explore coffee plantations, traditional villages and slow, winding rivers, as well as one of the best elephant sanctuaries in Thailand.
Here some of picuters
Ah i forget to telling you guys
Before we go to the golden triangle
We went from the tample near myanmar . Sorry hehe i forget the name of tample
25 febrArry 2019 08:50 Some activity here….. At the villager we meet some of children and another students CRRU
We went to elementary school and seeing the childrens doing health education ,
Lil bit selfie heheMe with my friends from phillipine MJAchan plump trying to tell us about anatomy12:50 achan plump take us to the water seasson. And lil bit relax here and take some of picturesIn anatomy room
We had planing to go to concert near our dorm with my indonesian friends
So we went there around 20:40 p.m
But the shoop keeper preparing their stuff to go back to their homes maybe. Its quite late to be here. Hmm its okay. Maybe we still can see this baazar on another friday night 😁
So im going to tell you guys about my activity today in my campus.
My programs still same like yesterday but my Activity lil bit different because today i’m gona show you how to use lux meter and wet bulb globe temperature….
Okay i start from lux meter
This is us , tried lux meter
The lux (symbol: lx) is the SI derived unit of illuminance and luminous emittance, measuring luminous fluxper unit area. It is equal to one lumen per square metre. In photometry, this is used as a measure of the intensity, as perceived by the human eye, of light that hits or passes through a surface
And about wet bulb globe temperature
Wet Bulb Globe TemperatureMonitoring. A WBGT device is a measurement tool that uses ambienttemperature, relative humidity, wind, and solar radiation from the sun to get a measure that can be used to monitorenvironmental conditions during exercise.
* lux meter
The easiest way to understand how light is measured is by picturing the typical light bulb with a filament that heats up producing light (Incandescent if you read the previous section). The filament is the source of the light and is at the centre of a sphere with light being emitted in every direction. The total amount of energy of all the light produced is known as the “luminous flux”.
You are probably familiar with the Lumen; this is the measure of light intensity people have generally heard of. The base unit of luminous intensity is the candela, (a single lit candle gives off roughly 1 candela). One candela per steradian (an area in a cone shape starting from the source of light) is known as a lumen.
When we measure light, we are interested in how many Lumens fall on a surface; this is what we know as lux. One lux is one lumen per square meter.
A working example, We have a light source whose total light produced (luminous flux) is 1000 lumens. If we could focus this onto the surface of 1 square metre we would have an illuminance of 1000 lux. However if the same light was spread out over 10 square meters, we would only have an illuminance of 100 lux.
An alternative measurement of light is the foot-candle, this works the same way as lux except 1 foot-candle is 1 lumen per square foot.
*wet bulb globe temperature
This index has been used by the US military, business, and sports teams to avoid human heat illness. It provides a guide to outdoor activities, liquid intake, and the work/rest time balance.
The wet bulb globe temperature was created by the US Marines in 1956 at their Parris Island, South Carolina training facility. It provided a weather-based tool to let drill sergeants and officers know how far they could push recruits during outdoor activities and still avoid heat illness. The categories were set to be a guide to activity level and the balance between activity and rest times. Bright colors were assigned to each category, so that solid color flags could be flown over training areas to alert all to the wet bulb globe temperature status.
The wet bulb globe temperature index takes into account air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, cloud cover (solar radiation), and sun angle to calculate the heat stress risk from working outdoors.
Traditionally, we have used air temperature adjusted only by relative humidity as a measure of human heat stress. That doesn’t take into account the added heat load from work or exercise in sunlight or the reduction in heat load from wind.
How we respond to heat exposure is highly dependent on our level of heat acclimation and hydration. The table below provides a guide to work and rest times in minutes based on wet bulb globe temperature category and whether you are acclimated or unacclimated to the heat level. It also provides a guide to the amount of water intake per hour by heat category.
Recommendations above are for healthy, hydrated humans fully clothed with lightweight summer working clothes. Increase Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) by 2units, when wearing cotton coveralls. Increase WBGT by 4units, when wearing heavy winter-type clothing. Increase WBGT by 6units, when wearing permeable, water barrier clothing. Increase WBGT by 10units, when wearing full-body, impermeable, protective clothing (e.g. Tyvek coveralls and hood) while conducting “Light Work” and increase WBGT by 20units for “Moderate to Hard Work” tasks. Heat tolerance can be impacted by hydration, overall health, medications, and level of acclimation.
Getting acclimated to high heat conditions typically takes 5 days of heat exposure. It is recommended that you start at the unacclimated level on day one and then increase work and decrease rest times by 20 percent each day.
Rest periods in the table above assume that a person is in the same outdoor conditions. Persons should shade themselves during rest breaks, whenever possible.
Water intake can vary for individuals (+/– 1?4 quart/hr) and exposure to full sun or full shade (+/– 1?4 quart/hr). Sports drinks can be used for a portion of your water intake. The balance between the two depends on the outdoor activity and length of activity. Avoid high sugar soda pop and alcoholic beverages.
A couple of important take away lessons from wet bulb globe temperature and outdoor activities:
– Wet bulb globe temperature is a new heat stress index for most of us, so you’ll need to monitor it under moderate and high heat conditions to learn how to use it.
– Most of us spend so much time in air conditioned buildings or vehicles, few of us are acclimated to high heat conditions.
– We need to let the wet bulb globe temperature and our physical condition dictate how long we work, not the task.
– We need to stay ahead of dehydration by hydrating before outdoor activities and drinking enough water during outdoor activities.
Maybe thats all that i can share to you guys , hope u’ll enjoy
21 februarry 2019 09:33 a.m My program still same like yesterday about occupational health and safety programs, but our activity kinda different we learning how to use audiometer , vision screener , and spirometer with Mr. kim and
This is my second time had checking sounds level testThe First time i tried spirometerAlhamdulillah my result is goodBefore going back to our dorm, lets take a selfie first hehehhean uninspected things Acan (teacher) giving us his own vegetables from hydroponic. Thanks for all of this , khapun khap🙏
20 FEBRUARRY 2019 attend to univeristy at health science 08:00 a.m and Finally after one week attend Internship in health center, we already have our schedul for studying at university for the next 3 weeks ,
Before we continues our programs the four of us had meet with mr.thai and achan.bow (teaher)
the girl on back stage are waiting for the moment that mr. thai will give us a souvenri as estabilishmant student
An official student exchange in chiang rai rajabat university
Then continue our first activity
The programs occupational health and safety programs
“learning how to usr sound level meter and noise Dosimeter”
The teachers are so friendly 😊 love it.
This pecture was taken before we go to the road to check sounds level meterIt tooks 30 minutes to waiting the result .she tried to teach me
19 FEBRUARRY 2019 07:00 a.m. Today is our dayoff because there is a Buddhist birthday celebration. And we have a new members from malaysia to , we just meet them today This half day tour in Chiang Rai allows you to experience the exciting elephant ride in the mountainous jungle. Also visit to the ethnic hill tribe villages of Karen and Lahu, white tample also know as wat rong khun, amphoe muang.
So my mentor invited us to surround the area of Chiang Rai and a little walk to various tamples, we had 3 places to visit is
1. Karen elephants
2. Amphoe muang
3. Blue tample/ wat rong sue ten
4. White tample
(even if i had been to the white tample , but for today kinda different because im ride a bus with alot of malaysian girls and quite fun) Elephants have been an important part of Thai culture for many centuries. Apart from their use in logging, they were use as cavalry in battle. In the many wars with Burma both the Thai and Burmese kings rode on battle elephants. Chiang Rai has an elephant camp at the Karen village of Ban Ruammit on the banks of the river Kok. Here there are.
This places is karen elephants
This is Elephant camp, and me feeding him some of cane .
20 or more elephants, and rides are available on forest trails behind the village.
I got this view from the backyard of their cakges
In the village of Ban Ruammit handicrafts from different hill tribes are also on sale. Karen shirts, Akha shoulder bags, ornaments and decorations are available.
Alraight let’s move into the amphoe muang , and this is the second places that we’ve been there
Want some?
Heheh even if quite hot .were still fine 🙂
Okay the next trip we went to blue tample . The Blue Temple of Chiang Rai is not very known among tourist for now because it was completed very recently but no doubt it will become more and more famous and will welcome more and more people in t
RULES TO RESPECT WHEN VISITING A TEMPLE
Wat Rong Suea Ten – Blue Temple is a temple and when you visit a temple in Thailand there are some rules to know and follow : Dress properly (knees and shoulde
Dress properly (knees and shoulders should be covered) Take off your shoes when entering the buildings Be quiet Don’t hug or kiss Don’t point your feet to Buddha’s image Don’t smoke.
The last but not least
white tample……
Its been my second time visited wat rong khun
so im not dooing much at there
so maybe i’shall finish it right now , my little story about my daily activity …
Khaap khun kha🙏
thankyou for your attantion , and see you on the next day .gud luck.
17 februarry 2019 12:00 p.m If you’re traveling to Chiang Rai, then you’re probably going there to visit Wat Rong Khun, or the White Temple I traveled to the White temple with my fellow students exchange. The white temple, or Wat Rong Khun as it is more properly known, is a deeply weird construction, reminiscent of something that Gaudi might have thrown together
i would recommend you guys that you spend around 2 hours at the white tample chiang rai to fully appreciate the tample, art gallery and shops
