This half day tour in Chiang Rai allows you to experience the exciting
elephant ride in the mountainous jungle. Also visit to the ethnic hill tribe villages of Karen and Lahu, white tample also know as wat rong khun, amphoe muang.
So my mentor invited us to surround the area of Chiang Rai and a little walk to various tamples, we had 3 places to visit is
1. Karen elephants
2. Amphoe muang
3. Blue tample/ wat rong sue ten
4. White tample
(even if i had been to the white tample , but for today kinda different because im ride a bus with alot of malaysian girls and quite fun)
Elephants have been an important part of Thai culture for many centuries. Apart from their use in logging, they were use as cavalry in battle. In the many wars with Burma both the Thai and Burmese kings rode on battle elephants.
Chiang Rai has an elephant camp at the Karen village of Ban Ruammit on the banks of the river Kok. Here there are.

20 or more elephants, and rides are available on forest trails behind the village.

In the village of Ban Ruammit handicrafts from different hill tribes are also on sale. Karen shirts, Akha shoulder bags, ornaments and decorations are available.
Alraight let’s move into the amphoe muang , and this is the second places that we’ve been there
